„A Community Which No Longer Exists. In the Footsteps of the Jews from Zamość” was the title of a lecture given to our members and volunteers in the “Synagogue” Centre where The Multimedia Museum of the History of Jews of Zamość and the Surrounding Area was established in 2011.

The lecture was given by Daniel Krzaczkowski, the coordinator of the Synagogue, who later moderated the follow-up discussion and took the participants on a guided tour around the site which has been recently renovated by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage. The visit to such a unique place enabled the participants to learn more about the history of the local Jewish community that for centuries participated in and co-created the intellectual, religious and cultural life of the region.
