It was a sad childhood... 2013-12-11 , intergenerational integration
With these words Janina Jabłońska, our December guest in the Cafe of Stories, began her story. Born in 1934, as a child she experienced displacement to a temporary camp in Zamość, suffered typhoid and the hardships of the first post-war years as her father did not return from forced labour in Germany. The meeting, which also included Ms. Jabłońska reciting her own poems, was attended by the participants of the workshop “How to talk to the witnesses to history.”
