”Memory collectors” back from Israel 2015-04-01 , other project activities
The last, third stage of the Polish-German-Israeli “Forgotten stories – forgotten people” project took place in Kfar Silver on 22−28 March. The Polish participants, nine pupils from Zamość, met their German and Israeli peers in order to continue recording interviews with witnesses to history. Apart from working jointly on the project, they also found time to do a bit of sightseeing in Jerusalem and visit Yad Vashem. At the close of the visit, the participants planted olive trees and unveiled a large stone commemorating the joint undertaking.
