”Memory collectors” back from Israel 2015-04-01 , other project activities

The last, third sta­ge of the Po­lish-Ger­man-Isra­eli “For­got­ten sto­ries – for­got­ten pe­ople” pro­ject took pla­ce in Kfar Si­lver on 22−28 March. The Po­lish par­ti­ci­pants, nine pu­pils from Zamość, met the­ir Ger­man and Isra­eli pe­ers in or­der to con­ti­nue re­cor­ding in­te­rviews with wit­nes­ses to hi­sto­ry. Apart from wor­king jo­in­tly on the pro­ject, they also fo­und time to do a bit of si­ght­se­eing in Je­ru­sa­lem and vi­sit Yad Va­shem. At the clo­se of the vi­sit, the par­ti­ci­pants plan­ted oli­ve tre­es and unve­iled a lar­ge sto­ne com­me­mo­ra­ting the jo­int un­der­ta­king.
