Seniors for children, children for seniors 2016-06-01 , intergenerational integration
A very peculiar Children’s Day was held in ”Okrąglak” on the initiative of a theatre instructor, Janina Lachowska. Because she conducts theatre classes for children and seniors, she decided that on that special day they would perform for each other and for the audience.
The seniors prepared songs and a puppet performance and dedicated them to the children. The children, in turn, prepared a play about seven fairies. The small artists were also given presents. According to the participants (both the artists and the audience), the whole event was a huge success.
