One of the tasks facing EVS volunteers, Albert and Sergio, is work in the Senior Community Station. They carry it out very well, engaging in activities conducted by instructors, therapists and trainers. At the beginning, the language barrier was a problem, but it was quickly overcome. A course in Polish language, which they attend, is starting to bear fruit. Also, the seniors help as much as they can. The Italian and the Spaniard gladly share their knowledge and they tell the seniors about their countries, mother towns as well as customs, traditions and culture.
