“A summertime breeze from Japan” – such was the slogan of an event attended by members of the Senior Community Station.

They had the opportunity to meet and talk to Japanese people, to hear information about the art of Japanese cuisine, and learn how to use chopsticks as well as savour sushi.

The event took place on the beautiful patio of the Morandówka restaurant, the co-organizer of this festival. The Japanese Culture Festival was held in Zamość for the second time. It was organized on the initiative of the city and YAMAMOTO, a Polish-Japanese foundation from Przemyśl. The programme of the festival included: concerts, an origami show and fashion shows, a Japanese calligraphy presentation as well as a demonstration of how to prepare and serve tea.
